Rating: Worth Watching (if you like war movies)
Generally speaking, I like most war movies. There have been so many war movies made that it is rare to see a really different movie. Unfortunately, Windtalkers does not separate itself from countless other war movies that I have seen. This does not mean that it was a bad movie however.
A plus side to this movie is that it takes a very different outlook of World War II than any other movie that I can recall. Most WWII movies show the battles fought in Europe but this focuses on the Pacific front. It also brings attention to the service that Navaho Americans provided to the United States.
Although I cannot say that there was truly special about this movie, I do think it is worth watching (if you like war movies).
