Face the Facts

12/1/2002

The Warren Commission remains one of the most intelligent conglomerates of government officials ever assembled. Almost forty years after the assassination of President Kennedy, the official findings remain that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. It takes an intelligent group of individuals to dupe the American public!

Even a modest skimming of the Commission’s investigation leaves huge coincidences and inaccuracies. Sure, individuals have picked up on these obvious fallacies but the official determination from the United States Government remains consistent with the Warren Commission’s initial finding. That was quite a task that the Commission accomplished; manipulating the facts enough to make an argument against common sense and being able to carry their conclusion long enough for the public’s interest to fade.

I would have hated to be a witness to the events of that day because mysteriously all creditable eyewitnesses that claimed to have heard a shot from the Grassy Knoll either died shortly thereafter or were too traumatized to testify. You cannot blame those that were too scared to give their testimony though, I would be afraid to talk too if my life was threatened.

I do not know if public opinion has changed enough over the past forty years to accept that the assassination was indeed a conspiracy, but either way the Warren Commission did its job. They convinced the world that there was not a conspiracy and more importantly that the United States Government was not a part of it.

There are far too many facts of this case that are disputable to go into individual ones, but “Crossfire” by Jim Marrs covers the details of each one. Perhaps when all of the official documents of the case are unsealed (undoubtedly after all guilty parties have died) the American public will learn the truth about their government.

Why? Just Because!
